The Cueball monthly tournament was played on the 12th February at 12 noon (thats 12 noon Paul - who turned up 2 hours late!!!!!!!).

There were 19 entrants this month. 2 juniors attended Hannah Jones and Alex Anastacia. 2 female competitors also entered - Hannah Jones (again) and Jule Kightley. The winner of the event was James Harrison who took out some very familiar names to match up against Jimmy Gratton in the final, winning 4 - 3.

Notable mentions of the day are Alex Anastacia who has valiantly attended all of the recent adult tournaments in the club and drawn the winner in the first round. One day Alex you'll get your dream draw but experience is everything at your level now. Keep it up you have gained alot of respect amongst the players.

Hannah Jones winning her first adult match to make it to the quarter finals and potting some excellent pots nearly winning one of her frames against A Bloor.

Drews 4,945,453rd tip that he put on to his cue prior to his first round match against Mick Davies.

Jimmy Gratton's Frank Sinatra hat, rumour that it was worn to bring good fortune seemed to prevail as he knocked in a barrage of excellent breaks (8 over 40) including topping the breaks table and beating his 104 in the Pot Black Semi Final..
