Jordan was only 4ft tall on the turn of his 13 th birthday, believe it or not, but after the cake candle was blown an overnight growth spurt happened! Incredibly his claim to fame is he is the second tallest landmark in the UK after the infamous Blackpool tower (Jordan truly wrote this himself).
On a more serious note, he started playing snooker but mainly pool around the age of 11 and it was pool that took up his early years of cuesport. He has represented Derbyshire on numerous occasions and has had trials for England back in his day.
His last pool trophy was the Sunday ‘A' league winner,
Snooker became a big part of the ‘Tallests' life at around the age of 13 where he became a member at the cuecible. (gettit?? ed). He received the‘Best New Comer' trophy in his first season then won the league a year later. It was then onto a minimum of 4hrs a day practice and eating, drinking and sleeping snooker before he decided to take on the best juniors in the country! His best result is against ‘Patrick Einsle' who at the time was the german no.1 junior who had just won their senior title. He ' annihilated' him 3-1 and was 'well chuffed'
Nowdays he can rarely be seen on a snooker table, or any baize for that matter. However with only 1 frame a week and serious cram sessions before matches it seems that he is becoming more successful with 2006 being a good year for the tall one! |
